British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS)

The British Society for Dermatological Surgery is dedicated to providing the highest standards for skin cancer care and skin surgery care in the UK. It was founded in the early 1980s and its website is bsds.org.uk.

I have been a member of the executive committee since 2005 and in 2006 organised the annual surgical workshop. This meeting was held over 3 days and hosted over 120 delegates being taught hands on surgery on pig belly and trotters by nearly 30 faculty members.

I was elected as an Ordinary Member of the Executive Committee in 2007 check and more recently in July 2009 was elected as Treasurer of the BSDS.
